Not usually a fan of  “modified” versions of our anthem – but this one is completely full of  #win. If you don’t mind, share this one around just a bit…the rest of their songs are unabashedly patriotic. Nice work, gents! More here.

and they live in one much less fortunate. Gustus Bozarth, I don’t know what circumstances led you to where you are, but I tip my hat to you, sir.

The following is from a thread over on VGOF (Virginia Gun Owners Forum) – forum member zephyp sums up how I feel about the Arizona immigration law uproar. Actually it sums up how I’ve felt about it for years (long prior to the uproar from the left). Thanks for letting me share this, DK. (h/t)

“I feel for all of the poor immigrants who come here legally. They must first work and save money in their home country and apply for a visa. Then find a way to come here often leaving most of their belongings and some of their family behind. Then the wait begins and all of the red tape. I understand the process can take years to do legally. God bless those who endure the legal process and find a better way of life here as US citizens and I welcome those.

To those here breaking our laws — I dont care who you are or what good/bad you are doing. You are here illegally and should be arrested. You are not citizens and therefore not afforded protection by our Constitution. You have human rights but not civil rights. I fully expect the federal — or in this case state of AZ — government to treat you “civilly” as they detain, arrest, and deport your illegal self back to where you came. Get in line and do it legally.

I spent 17 years in southern AZ. I feel sorry for the folks down there. I can only imagine what they must be going through. I understand that it is no longer safe to walk to the corner 7-11 without carrying a gun or be with someone — or several someones who are.

And last, to obama and all the so called elected leaders pushing for amnesty and doing nothing about the crisis on the border — you will get yours eventually. Maybe not in November and maybe not in 2012. But one day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess.

To the Mexican government speaking out against actions in AZ — keep your citizens in your own country and make them use our legal process. You people have created a third world country out of something that could be indeed have been a very nice place to live. You and your corrupt officials, along with the drug cartels, will get yours too…”
