I suggest two ibuprofen and a cocktail before listening to this – rather enlightening:

Borrowed from an Australian friend’s FB post:

“a good two years ago Emma had a lump on her eyelid, took her to the drs and got a referral to a specialist – tonight when I got home I finally have a letter from the hospital asking if we still needed an appointment. Public Health system working well. Its been so long Emma’s eye has healed on its own.”

Yeah, that’s what I thought…

…do we really want the same people running it “controlling our healthcare costs?” I know we’ve all heard the fraud stories before, but grab a cup of coffee and read this one:

Feds: Woman’s fraud nets $600K – CharlotteObserver.com

“The indictment states Willis falsely billed the N.C. Medical Assistance Program between 2007 and 2010 for juveniles and adults who had been former patients, as well as some who had never received services from Willis or her company.
For example, the indictment alleged Willis filed claims for 410 dates between August 2007 and January 2010 totaling more than $102,000 for one juvenile. Authorities said the person had actually received services from Willis and her company for just two months in 2007.
Willis is also accused of filing claims for 451 dates of service for that youth’s sibling, who had not been enrolled in behavior therapy services.
Some of the claims were submitted even after Willis’ credentials as a substance abuse counselor had expired, making her ineligible to bill for certain services, as well as two periods when Willis was incarcerated in 2009, according to the court documents.”

Wouldn’t it have made more sense to fix the existing federal boondoggles prior to enacting Obamacare? I mean, the amount of Medicare fraud is staggering. For every one that is caught, just imagine how many more cockroaches there are in the room! Time to turn on the lights and watch ‘em scatter.

Like many, I long ago wrote off Social Security, Medicare and other dole-based programs for what they are: government sanctioned Ponzi schemes. Add assclowns like Sarah Lavonne Willis and the scheme just collapses sooner.

People, strap in and hang on – the fraud is only gonna get worse unless we repeal Obamacare. Actually, it’ll likely get uglier if and when Obamacare is repealed – folks of the entitlement mindset will go ballistic. Y’know, it’s kinda funny about entitlements. They always seem to lead to more entitlements.

Expect less from your fellow man – avoid disappointment. I’m just sayin’…

Lemme get this straight – this is is another example of some folks are “more equal” than others, right? If Obamacare is so gosh-awful good, why in the name of all that’s holy, are so many corporations, unions, et al asking for and receiving waivers? Can ya answer that for me, Oh Great One? How about you guys, Nancy and Harry? Bueller?

(cue crickets)

“Let us briefly review the rapidly growing rolls of companies, unions, and states bursting out of the Obamacare escape hatch.

In early September, I noted the push by Obamacare promoter and Democrat Rep. Ron Wyden for a special state waiver from the very federal mandate he advocated for everyone else.

A few weeks later, McDonald’s finagled its own Obamacare waiver after warning federal regulators that it could be forced to drop its affordable health insurance plan for nearly 30,000 restaurant workers unless it got a pass.

In early October, the Obama administration announced it had granted waivers not only to McDonald’s, but also to several other firms and labor unions.” – Michelle Malkin » Waiver-mania! The ever-expanding Obamacare escapee list: RTWT

It just proves that no matter how much lipstick you put on a big steaming pile it’s still a big, steaming, elitist, unconstitutional, over-reaching pile of nanny state Demoscat.

For anyone still laboring under the misconception that Obamacare is about providing “Affordable Health Care For All” vice “Governmental Control for All” – let’s just have a look-see at this:

Click to biggify

Courtesy of Joint Economic Committee Republicans we have an org chart of just what Obamacare hath wrought. Sadly, this doesn’t even begin to cover all of it. Pay special attention to all of the newly added “oversight.”

“Washington, DC – Four months after U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi famously declared “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it,” a congressional panel has released the first chart illustrating the 2,801 page health care law President Obama signed into law in March.

Developed by the Joint Economic Committee minority, led by U.S Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas and Rep. Kevin Brady of Texas, the detailed organization chart displays a bewildering array of new government agencies, regulations and mandates.” RTWT

Do we need to fix healthcare? Hell, yeah!  Is this the right solution? Hell, No!

“Look what they done to America ma
Look what they done to America
Well, it’s the only thing that we could do half right
And it’s turning out all wrong ma
Look what they done to America”

…and to Robb for the Rage-O-Meter

*Here’s a link to a pdf with a much larger version of the chart – I had to manually add the .pdf extension to make it save properly with FireFox.
