…do we really want the same people running it “controlling our healthcare costs?” I know we’ve all heard the fraud stories before, but grab a cup of coffee and read this one:
Feds: Woman’s fraud nets $600K – CharlotteObserver.com
“The indictment states Willis falsely billed the N.C. Medical Assistance Program between 2007 and 2010 for juveniles and adults who had been former patients, as well as some who had never received services from Willis or her company.
For example, the indictment alleged Willis filed claims for 410 dates between August 2007 and January 2010 totaling more than $102,000 for one juvenile. Authorities said the person had actually received services from Willis and her company for just two months in 2007.
Willis is also accused of filing claims for 451 dates of service for that youth’s sibling, who had not been enrolled in behavior therapy services.
Some of the claims were submitted even after Willis’ credentials as a substance abuse counselor had expired, making her ineligible to bill for certain services, as well as two periods when Willis was incarcerated in 2009, according to the court documents.”

Wouldn’t it have made more sense to fix the existing federal boondoggles prior to enacting Obamacare? I mean, the amount of Medicare fraud is staggering. For every one that is caught, just imagine how many more cockroaches there are in the room! Time to turn on the lights and watch ‘em scatter.
Like many, I long ago wrote off Social Security, Medicare and other dole-based programs for what they are: government sanctioned Ponzi schemes. Add assclowns like Sarah Lavonne Willis and the scheme just collapses sooner.
People, strap in and hang on – the fraud is only gonna get worse unless we repeal Obamacare. Actually, it’ll likely get uglier if and when Obamacare is repealed – folks of the entitlement mindset will go ballistic. Y’know, it’s kinda funny about entitlements. They always seem to lead to more entitlements.
Expect less from your fellow man – avoid disappointment. I’m just sayin’…
