MacBourne's Musings

Time to go back to the land: Planning to be as off-grid as I can - in the process there'll be music, guns, guitars, a smattering of politics (really kind of over that), CNC routing, yeah - a bunch of other stuff, too. Conservative with libertarian leanings - no wookie suit, yet. Μολὼν λαβέ - ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒE

  1. My hat’s off to you, Mr. Ong. Nothing drives the radical Left as crazy as being confronted with facts of record as opposed to their usual practice of using “facts” invented on the fly.

  2. We’re really starting to see recent immigrants speaking out for gun rights. It warms my heart but also shames me into wanting to do more. Both are good things.

  3. Mr. Ong may not have had English as his first language as I did, however, he delivers a much more powerful statement than I am capable of. I hope we are all as thoughtful a citizen and as patriotic as Mr. Ong.

  4. Bravo Mr. Ong! Nothing like hitting them with the fact andnothing but the facts!!

  5. Preach on brother we all need to protect your self’s agianst a overbearing govt

  6. i give him great kudo’s for his courage

  7. Rational thought, history and reason have been tossed aside as the gun grabbers have gone bat crap crazy after the Sandy Hook incident, with support from leftist politicicians and the left leaning lamestream media who have jumped on board along with 3’rd reich nazi police forces currently occupying the major cities. These unamerican forces are the enemy. Those politicians are the face of america’s enemy.

  8. Thank you Mr. Ong. Welcome to America.
    My two cents worth:

    “Congress of the United States
begun and held at the City of New-York, on
Wednesday the fourth of March, one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.

THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.”

    The US Constitution

something resembling a fringe : edge, periphery

Synonyms: borderline, bound, boundary, brim, circumference, compass, confines, edge, edging, end, frame, border, hem, margin, perimeter, periphery, rim, skirt, skirting, verge

Transitive verb: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another

Intransitive verb: encroach — used with on or upon

    synonyms see trespass

    en·croach\in-ˈkrōch, en-\
    intransitive verb
1 : to enter by gradual steps or by stealth into the possessions or rights of another

Synonym discussion: trespass encroach infringe invade mean to make inroads upon the property, territory, or rights of another. trespass implies an unwarranted or unlawful intrusion . encroach suggests gradual or stealthy entrance upon another’s territory or usurpation of another’s rights or possessions . infringe implies an encroachment clearly violating a right or prerogative . invade implies a hostile and injurious entry into the territory or sphere of another .

    From Webster’s Dictionary

    Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

    From the U. S. Constitution.

NOW do you understand? The writers of the Constitution chose their words carefully. Any law which in any way hinders the RIGHT to keep and bear arms is illegal. ALL gun control laws are illegal.
